Sorry, Void. I probably should've told you a week ago, but then I got caught up in the whole 'cat ears and tail' thing.

Actually, that's an excuse.

I can't even tell you this in person because I feel like I've failed you.

Captain Kiba didn't accept

In my experience Kiba-san is a very good captain of the Adventurers. I've never had a problem with him.

I never said he wasn't a good captain. Perhaps he is, but I can't agree with his attitude.

Well, who the hell do you think you are? Wait, are you Captain Kiba?

No, dumbass, I'm one of his men and his friend. Who the fuck do you think you are running your damn mouth about a guy you don't even fucking know, huh? Screw it, I wouldn't want to work with you anyway if you're too dumb to even ask around about the guy you wanna work for!

[Staring at this for a while because yes, she did tell Ice something about not seeing Captain Kiba in the journals a lot. But then... it's not her fault if some people doesn't know tact.]

What happened?

What did you say to him?

Well, the truth? I didn't know him. I hadn't heard of him. And it went downhill from there.

[OHOHOHOHO. OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO oh gods this is too good.]

Well let's see. The first step in 'what to do now' would be not to call the Captain of a very large faction an idiot over the journals where everyone can see it. You see, that's a bit of what the fellow over at the pie shop persists in calling a 'fox pass'. Calling someone out for what they did wrong is moral and all, although occasionally suicidal, but name-calling usually doesn't go over very well. Except perhaps for the people watching, who are probably running off to get some form of salty snack right about now.

I think you may find it very difficult to find a job now.

Well, thanks for informing me that it'll be very difficult to find a job now. That certainly helps so much.

Regarding name calling, if I remember correctly, he called me a stupid bitch.

If you're dense enough to slander a well-respected man's name over a public forum without actually citing what he did before having a job, I don't think I could possibly help much.

He calls you names, so you call him one right back. Excellent plan!

Yes, that's right. He keeps a well-respected and difficult position because he's an idiot. Of course.

I can assure you that this will not be happening again.
