Woah hey! I didn't think anyone else would be using my rec list XD Glad to know it's more than just one person ;)

I hear you... God, when I started reading original fics, I stopped reading manga altogether. It's been a good 8 months now lol. But I think the reason for that is that yaoi manga are so repetitive nowadays. Themes are overused and even then, the mangaka can't seem to write something original, exciting. It's always the same thing over and over again.

The advantage of original fics is that the authors aren't limited by publishers and whatnot. So their ideas - as obscure as they are - will find an audience, thus bringing us many interesting stories.

Well, do let me know if you have a fic I should read. I'll check out Necropolis in the meantime ;)

I finished Necropolis today and it seems quite intriguing. The charas are interesting but I have this nagging feeling that something is missing. Somehow the plot development isn't as tight as it could be, not gritty enough for such a theme ( ... )
