Woah hey! I didn't think anyone else would be using my rec list XD Glad to know it's more than just one person ;)

I hear you... God, when I started reading original fics, I stopped reading manga altogether. It's been a good 8 months now lol. But I think the reason for that is that yaoi manga are so repetitive nowadays. Themes are overused and even then, the mangaka can't seem to write something original, exciting. It's always the same thing over and over again.

The advantage of original fics is that the authors aren't limited by publishers and whatnot. So their ideas - as obscure as they are - will find an audience, thus bringing us many interesting stories.

Well, do let me know if you have a fic I should read. I'll check out Necropolis in the meantime ;)

I finished Necropolis today and it seems quite intriguing. The charas are interesting but I have this nagging feeling that something is missing. Somehow the plot development isn't as tight as it could be, not gritty enough for such a theme ( ... )

Hm, Captive Prince did get published but the author still has the chapters up online. If you can, read it. It's got one of my rare 10/10 ratings ;)
But Forever Ignored is a very good choice. I love that story. Read it twice already xD

AFF is unfortunately a very old website that sucks even on a computer to read. Apparently, it's also really difficult to upload stories to it.
FP has a mobile version for browsers on smartphones. I don't think it has an app but I haven't checked yet.

If you're looking for sth specific, let me know. Maybe I can point you to the right story ^^

Forever Ignored is unfortunately complete now =((( I'd really like to read an epilogue.

I have saved CP on my computer. If you need it, let me know and I'll send it to you. I'm actually waiting for Penguin books to publish the first two volumes. (The current releases are self-published.)

LPH: This story really grew on me. At first I didn't like Max at all because for a genius with a super high IQ he didn't seem really that intelligent... but gosh, the sex XD Also, it's a sci-fi that has no mpreg. That's a big plus for me =D

Pain and Pain: If you think this is sad, then you should really take a long break before you read "Forgotten." Not as good as Forever Ignored but it'll still make you cry. Btw, do I remember correctly that he got a white bunny plushie? Because that was so adorable >vThey Call Him Lovely: Yeah, I found the thing with his dad and Nick not so great either. It was more disruptive to the story than contributing ( ... )
