Coffee

Ian had two passions: firearms and coffee. While on a job nothing relaxed him more than one hand resting on his pistol, the other clutching a steaming cup of coffee. He’d down it like water, even the horrid sludge he’d had at the LA FBI building.

When Colby handed him back the green mug he’d picked up, recently rinsed and full of ( Read more... )

Hehe... love it!
And glad to see that finally Ian's dangerous, self-destructive coffee-addiction comes to light.
(Honestly, even when he had been a young cop in Miami Vice, LDP had hardly been seen without a cup of it. Not to forget the horror movie Bats in which he is even drinking coffee in pathology. A serious case.
I suggest withdrawal before starting to film The Edge *lol*
Thanks for the story! ;)

I hope you'll find it! He's pretty young there, long hair... yummy. The episode is titled Red Tape and from season 2 or 3, I think.
Only noticed it myself because of a story in a Kieferlou Fanzine, pairing the character with an original character looking like young Kiefer Sutherland. *gg*
There might be another Zine in autumn. Have to check out the Yahoo Group. :)

Once again I find myself reading your fics about Ian. One day I had pancake cravings for the rest of the day and now I really want a good cup of coffee. LOL

I think despite previous comments, this fic is great. We don't know enough about Ian's personal life to really know what he's like...truly. He might very well enjoy the simple pleasure of a bit of vanilla in his coffee...he likes bran muffins...who saw that coming? Or rather, who saw that he would admit that?

This is your interpretation and I enjoy reading it...I just wanted you to know that. *huggles

*huggles back*

I needed that.

Thanks for reading and posting, and I totally agree with the bran muffin thing (cracked me up first time I watched it, and that line about fibre [yes fibre is spelt right, I'm Australian].).

But I'm sure there's room for one more passion, eh Ian?

*wink wink*

I hsve no problem with the coffee addiction. My oldest brother will drink anything as long as it's coffee. My second oldest brother (number five child) is a policeman/army reserve member and I could check what they drink when out on manouvres. (He loves taking the Americans into the bush and getting them lost ;)) I think he just drinks the coffee supplied in the rat packs. (short for ration pack - Australians don't use MRE.)
Who in their right mind is going to call whatever Ian Edgerton drinks 'girly'.
I'm loving this, can't wait for more.
