Ewww, Pizza flavored baked goldfish...

....Don't taste like the yummy goldfish I used to remember. Trying to figure out if it's the "baked" part, or the "pizza" part.

Prolly the baked, since I seem to recall pizza godlfish tasting rather nice.

Why?  The regular goldfish in the huge gallon-size boxes are far cheaper and taste fairly decent . . .

Because I was walking through the school's we've-got-everything mini-shop 'cause I had a case of the munchies. They don't carry huge gallon-sized boxes :P

With all due respect to melayneseahawk I would have guessed that the cause would be the pizza flavor being the funky bit. In the past few months I've tried several combinations of goldfish, though I've stayed away from the pizza. Regular classic goldfish tasted exactly like I remembered. Baked goldfish still tasted good, but definitely tasted a bit lighter than the originals, but still good. Try it out for yourself...

Hmmm. I'm suspecting the baked part - it is less salty / lighter, and had it had more flavor, it would be yummier. I'll have to swing my by local grocery store and see if I can acquire a box of non-baked pizza goldfish and report back to the internet :)
