I'm sad too. It really is the end of an era. I started the books in 2000, I think and I've followed it ever since.
+ I missed Hogwarts too. It was weird thinking people like McGonagall and Neville were still there. + I don't know, for some reason I thought more people were going to end up dead. Some of the deaths were still a shock to me. Especially Fred. I was so sad, it was really unexpected. I wanted Percy or Charlie to go. LOL. + I actually loved the bit with Snape. It was pretty sad in my eyes. I felt bad for him because of how his life turned out. + You know me, I love H/Hr so obviously I didn't like the epilogue. Hahah. It's not even on the H/Hr thing, it was exactly what we've chatted about. Cliche and contrived. I figured the names would be James Sirius (but it's probably James Harry, huh?). Albus Severus sounds a bit awkward. The whole thing with Ginny...no one can ever convince me that they were meant to be.
I thought the way Percy just sort of burst on the scene was rushed. I wouldn't have minded if he went instead of Fred either lol.
Sorry I'm being mean to Snape. :o I guess I was just so convinced of his evilness.
I much prefer Harry and Hermione too so I actually would have liked it if maybe she changed it up a bit and Harry ended up with her. Of course Harry had to say he loved her like a sister too lol.
We do tend to agree a lot.The letter from Lily was so bittersweet. Little Harry was on a toy broom. That is so cute. I know what you mean about Snape too. I found it hard to feel sorry for him in some ways because he wasn't really doing those things for Harry. It was for Lily. I was hoping he would have at least expressed that he'd grown to care about Harry but I guess he kind of still held a grudge with James and Harry looks like James except for his eyes.
I think she should have just gave an epilogue that was like 5 or 10 years later with what profession the characters went into and stuff. I agree about Albus though. He was definitely like Harry.
Harry and Hermione were really cute together when she went to visit his parents' graves with him. I think they would have been good together too.
I really do love that Sam and Harry are so alike too because they are two of my favorite characters. I want to reread them as well :D
It was very bittersweet. I loved that picture with little Harry riding his broom, that was so cute. I just wish we'd seen more of Snape showing a bit more compassion towards Harry. I do think he cared a bit more towards the end though. Especially when he realized what Dumbledore was doing. But he was mostly doing everything for Lily, and he could only see James in Harry.
Yeah that's what I wanted to see too, I really wanted to know what they worked with and such.
I know, I loved that part. And there was this one part where Hermione touched Harry's hair when he was sitting outside the tent. That was pretty sweet too.
They are my favourite characters too. They are so much alike, and I just love them. They are great characters really =) Yeah I might start rereading them slowly lol.
Now I can tell you what part reminded me of SN so much I actually quoted it! When Harry killed Voldemort, I FULLY expected him to say, "That was for my parents, you son of a bitch." I was actually a little upset when he didn't.
But definitely...Sammy and Harry are one in the saem.
