So it looks like, sadly, CaramelSilver will not be doing the three-sentence ficathon this year. I've watched her journal almost daily this month and she appears to not be coming back. Sadness. After rereading the fics I've contributed over the past few years to each ficathon, I was really hoping to see one for this year

Five demons attacked the house together, catching Piper fully off-guard; the last demon attack was months ago and it'd been easily handled. She yelled for Paige first, then screamed at Wyatt to erect a forcefield around himself and his siblings, but too late--even as she blew up the first demon in sight, another demon hurled a fireball at the stairs. As Paige orbed in with Phoebe in tow, the stairs blew up, and Chris with it; as her sisters handle the remaining demons, Piper sits in the debris, screaming, her dead son in her arms.

Carolyn taps the end of her pen against the oak finish of her desk, eyeing the clock every few minutes. Twice her hand reaches for the phone, but she holds herself back; the entire base will be alerted when SG-1 returns. She glances at her calendar, where her dinner with Colonel Mitchell is written in green ink, and she sighs--another reschedule.
