As Bedford, Anu, his better half, and her parents were visiting this lucnhtime the wind picked, the sky darkened and then the heavens opened. Thank goodness!

Despite the thunder and lightening, the air is that much fresher but at least the garden's had a good soaking.

So, think we'll take ourselves off to see PotC as the cinema is air-

Only go if the cinema in question has comfy seats and preferably air-conditioning as well. It is a long film which, like King Kong, could easily have lost half an hour with judicious editing and no-one would have been any the wiser. I did enjoy it and it has some great lines, but the narrative was a tad confusing at times and the action sequences went on too long. So really it depends on whether you want to sit somehwere cool for nearly three hours or not.
