Jack is really committed to his son. Keeping him safe and with him is his number one priority. He's is last and forever connection to Ianto. His way to show that world what Ianto jones meant to him.

Thanks. I'm glad you are enjoying this so far. Just two more two go, both chapters I will post over the weekend.
It did not help that when I got home this evening and turned on the TV that the first site I saw was the death scene. Darn BBCAmerica and their CoE marathon.
Jack is really serious about being a good father, knowing how he has screwed up in the past where his children are concerned and plus this is last link to Ianto and he want to make him proud. The little one is going to know everything about the man he was named after.

I wanted to smack Gwen when I wrote this part of the story. I guess this is where part of Jack reputation Hirt him a bit, but if Gwen had bother to really pay attention to Jack and Ianto she would not have judged Jack like that.
And little Ianto being taken away from him is Jack greatest fear at the moment and his son his is top. priority, making sure he is happy and healthy.
