I could easily listen to Gwen saying those stupid concepts!!!!
Jack seems really commited to his son and only wants the best for him, I really hope Gwen does not ruin that for hthem .....

Thank you.

Jack is really committed to his son. Keeping him safe and with him is his number one priority. He's is last and forever connection to Ianto. His way to show that world what Ianto jones meant to him.

Awww, I just read the first 3 chapters and I'm all emotional. See, this is what is the problem with the TV show. They don't bother to really show Jack mourning for Ianto. If they did, maybe I could then accept his death but they just swept it under the rug like everything else. Anyway, you've captured Jack's emotional battle really well thus far and his relationship with his little Ianto is so precious. I don't blame Jack for keeping everyone away from him and his child; nothing has never really worked out for him the past so he's protecting what's his (and preserving Ianto's memory). Looking forward to the rest, thanks so much for sharing :-)

Hey! How have you been? Haven't seen you around in a while.

Thanks. I'm glad you are enjoying this so far. Just two more two go, both chapters I will post over the weekend.

It did not help that when I got home this evening and turned on the TV that the first site I saw was the death scene. Darn BBCAmerica and their CoE marathon.

Jack is really serious about being a good father, knowing how he has screwed up in the past where his children are concerned and plus this is last link to Ianto and he want to make him proud. The little one is going to know everything about the man he was named after.

Once again Gwen has demonstrated how far her compassion stretches when it comes to people she barely knows, or doesn't know at all, and how lacking it is with the people who are, supposedly, her friends ( ... )

Thank you:)

I wanted to smack Gwen when I wrote this part of the story. I guess this is where part of Jack reputation Hirt him a bit, but if Gwen had bother to really pay attention to Jack and Ianto she would not have judged Jack like that.

And little Ianto being taken away from him is Jack greatest fear at the moment and his son his is top. priority, making sure he is happy and healthy.

Bloody Gwen, always her way and only her way. Jack and Ianto need to get back to Glasgow, or anywhere else away from
Cardiff and the sad memories.

Gwen needs to keep her mouth shut. She cannot begin to understand what Jack and even Rhiannon have gone through.

Glasgow is where all the happy memories are.

Thank you.
