Torchwood Panel @ MegaCon 2014

The Torchwood panel was hysterical. It was the first time I've seen them together at a panel. I've been to a few with JB and GDL separately, so it was fun to see them all together. JB is an attention hog. The lighting was very poor in the room to only be using the camera on my phone and I had front row seats.

I was so struck by the differing "hothouse" stories John and Gareth told at NYCC. Something tells me John's version is going to win out in the end, even though I'm pretty sure that's not what happened, just because Gareth doesn't have the will to keep refuting it. That whole incident made me wonder how many other of John's stories are exaggerated or completely made up for entertainment value. I'm thinking a lot of them were.

Yup. VIP passes were a must for this con. Luckily they weren't so insanely priced.

I dunno, there was just something about Gareth's reaction that said John's version might not be too far from the truth.. Though I'm sure a lot of his stuff is over exaggerated. Though with the arosual story it was Gareth who started to tell it. .

This is the bit of what I filmed on my phone as i said before, the lighting was poor for cell phone video/photos, but this was definitely one of the most fun parts of the panel in my opinion.

Oops, sorry, I always meant to reply to this and just found it again. I was wondering why you said "this bit" as the link I posted is the complete one hour panel, in good quality too (with mobile phone videos, I often have the problem that I can't understand the sound properly)

I just wanted to mention it again as I was not sure whether you had been able to watch(or, since you already watched it live, download to keep it) the complete thing. Should have done so much earlier, of course.

I recently bought a ticket for Miracle Day 2 next May in London, where they just announded Eve, Kai, Gareth and Naoko again, like last year, but they say they work on more.
