Anthony gently pushed the limp Ian down onto the bed, and stood up to leave, his eyes now filled with hatred. He said harshly, "Now take him, before I lose my mind,"
"Excuse me?" One of the nurses questioned.
"If you think putting this sweet, harmless kid in a mental hospital is a good idea, you've already lost your mind, but I intend to keep mine, so I'm leaving before you can hurt him anymore," Anthony then turned, and left the room slamming the door behind him.
One particular nurse ran after him, leaving the room in a rush.

"Hey Ant- ANTHONY?" Kael yelled in surprise.
"Hey, Kael. What are you-"
"What the fuck are you doing here? I told you not to drive anywhere, you could've gotten yourself kill-"
"Hey, are you alright?" A nurse ran up to him and asked. He recognised her as the nurse who had given him some information when he was still in the hospital.
"Who the hell is this girl, huh?! You been getting around, I see!" Kael screamed.
"No, no Kael, you see-" Anthony began.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! It makes perfect sense now, no trying to hide it. You didn't want me staying over so you could go visit your stupid girlfriend, who you met when that fuckhead Ian got you checked in to this place!"
"No, you see-" The nurse started.
"You shut the hell up, you boyfriend stealer!" Kael lashed back. "That's it Anthony Padilla, we're through!" Kael stormed off, and ran to her car crying.
"Dammit....." Anthony said as he sat down on a bench.
The nurse sat down next to him, and asked, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, Kael was a bitch anyway. She never really loved me, just wanted me for sex, and popularity. In all honesty, you acctually did me a favor." Anthony said plainly.
"Well what about Ian? You okay about that?" The nurse asked.
"I just can't stand to see him hurt like this. He's been my best- no, my family forever, and it pains me to see him like that. There might even be a little- a little.." Anthony stopped.
"What?"
"Nothing, It's stupid," Anthony claimed.
"C'mon, you can tell me. You can tell me anything, I'll keep your secrets." The nurse said.
"Okay, but It's weird,"
"I see weird every day, Anthony." The nurse claimed.
"Promise you won't make fun of me?"
"Promise,"
Anthony took a deep breath, and began, "I think that I might, might have some, um, you know,........"
"Anthony, you can trust me, I swear," She said.
"Some feelings for him. I'm not gay, but just sometimes....."
"Sometimes you see him as more than a friend, more than family, and you start to wonder. It happens to everyone some time in their life, Anthony, not just you." The nurse said.
"But it's more than that. Sometimes, just by accident, I'll, you know, uh, get off, while thinking about him. It's scary, because if he ever found out-"
"It could ruin your friendship forever. I know." The nurse said.
"Wow, you know me real well," Anthony sat back, thinking.
The nurse stood up and said, "I'm Lisa. I'll make sure nothing happens to Ian. If you ever want to know what's going on, call me," She then pulled a sticky note and a pen out of her pocket, wrote down her number, and gave it to Anthony. "Bye," Lisa said as she walked away.
Anthony sat on that bench speechless for god knows how long. At some point in the night, he got up, and drove home.
