I'll be taking the (south) stage at noon this Sunday 14 September at the Brooklyn Book Festival in Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza. Will you be at New York is Book Country? Apparently it's the Sunday we'll be in NYC, so we want to stop by.

Not on the program. I don't know if I'll be there as an attendee or not.

The Brooklyn Festival was a pretty much last-minute thing: Kit was talking with a friend of a friend, and somehow I wound up on the program.

This is good to know. We've been debating about taking time to go to the Festival this year (it's currently neck-and-neck with picking up our new dining room set from a relative's house). But, I'm more tempted to take time for the Fest now. Hope to see you there. If we don't make it, I wish you lots of success and a good sized audience.

Thanks. It would be good to see you (and any other of my friends reading this). Every time I'm scheduled to be on stage or giving a presentation, my biggest worry is that absolutely no one will show up, so I treasure my friends in the audience as seed crystals. In this case, my parents are planning to be there, but unrelated seed crystals, for some reason, feel more "real" to me.
