First official appearance in support of my book
I'll be taking the (south) stage at noon this Sunday 14 September at the Brooklyn Book Festival in Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza. I'll be talking about the Presidents and the Presidency, as well as elections past and interesting, in a preview of talks I plan to give once my book is actually published (I'll have flyers, but the actual book will still be five weeks away).
There will be dozens of publishers exhibiting, scores of authors talking, and lots and lots of fun related to these things called books. It was last year at this festival that I met Steven Harris, who became my agent and was responsible for selling the book to Random House, so this event holds a special place in my career.
The festival is free, but mostly outdoors, so plan accordingly. And I'll hope to see you Sunday!
