Also: I haven't been able to stop thinking about the Grand Canyon or the Arizona desert since my visit there earlier in the summer. I can't wait to go back.

Grand Canyon

Our little hiking group (John and Darrell and me) has been making highly speculative plans to hike down one side of the canyon and back up the other next season, some time between 9/15/07 and 10/15/07. In our fantasy plan, John's wife will pick us up on the other side (since it's a long journey around). Then it would be a short drive to Vegas from which we could fly home (possibly after some local R&R). Care to join that expedition?
