Martha and I curled up by the fire last night (actually, the soft light of Law & Order: SVU) and sketched out a rough draft of our upcoming tour of the American Southwest. The tentative plan is as follows:

Also: I haven't been able to stop thinking about the Grand Canyon or the Arizona desert since my visit there earlier in the summer. I can't wait to go back.

I smell a future late-night road trip for waffles and grits.

So it looks like mistresserin and I are going to San Francisco December 27-31. We tossed around a lot of destinations, including Washington DC and Seattle, but settled on California because neither of us have been there before, and... uh, it's warm. Duh.
