It's 40 minutes before I have to hop on a bus to work. Whoooo. 1.5 hours in the chemistry study center and then class (a somewhat pointless one) and possibly sticking around until 3 for a group meeting. I have to pick a lab in the next 2 months or so. That's crazy talk

yay, purple hair! purple doesn't fade as badly as blue, IME.
i wish we could do rotations in grad school. i guess i'll settle for doing stuff i love and hopefully branching out into a new area or several...no telling.
how do you deal with seattle weather?

Yeah, purple fades to pastel purple or pink, not nasty-ass green. It's looking pretty awesome right now. Seattle weather isn't so bad, though I wish people wouldn't complain about it. Yesterday was super-rainy, but today was just kind of drizzly and grey, which I don't mind. We're still seeing sun and it's still in the low 60's/high 50's during the day. This afternoon was beautiful when it cleared up a bit, and I saw the base of a snow-covered Mt. Rainier through the clouds. Gorgeous. The only thing I don't like is that mold grows EVERYWHERE. Hiss.
