I don't think you can say that at a certain age you have to like a certain kind of music. If you like musicians that are classed as 'teenagy', so what? I mean, there are 15-year-old out there who like classic music, grandpas who like rock,... If it's cool music, like it. :)

I've got lastfm since a few weeks but I still haven't really got the hang of it. *is embarrassed*

Screw your mom and listen to what you enjoy. I'll be the first to admit that my music tastes have evolved in ways I wouldn't have expected when I was a teenager. Now I listen to almost everything except country and gospel and really brassy jazz. When I find a song or band I like, I don't care who they're marketed to. *goes to check out lastfm*

oh man that was a sad intro :( the music was the icing on the top of the emo boat (as I said in the Time and chips community :P)

doesn't matter how your taste in music is, a couple of years ago I was really into hip hop doesn't mean I want to be a gangster home boy lol, you can like whatever you want to like, you get 12 year olds into rock and classical music! a lot of the records sold by "teenagery" artists are probably bought by adults or the world is full of rich kids or parents who never say no :P like what you like, who cares what people think? :P
