Today, I extra love my kids and breastfeeding. Elisabeth woke up this morning, and I tried to stick my boob in her mouth to get her back to sleep. I of course thought it was 6:30 in the morning and much to early to get up, when in reality it was nearly 8, so she was wide awake! She was ready to get up and go, get the milkies away from me! So, she ( Read more... )

i have my good and bad days :) I still get lonely and homesick and really miss my mommy, but life is starting to come together here. I probably should do a real update, after months of silence :)

<3 I am glad to read a lovely update!

the strawberry KMF lip balm is amazing, too. and remember, it's a little taste of the hudson valley, since it's made in Gardiner

when are you coming north?

next weekend, omg!

My favorite teach is peach ginger, and all day, I've been thinking "did I leave an unfinished cup of tea hanging about?" "where is my tea?"
but it's nowhere. just on my face!

It sounds like you are settling into your new life. I'm sure it's a big difference, and where the heck has time gone? How can Ellie be almost 6 months old? Then again, you have an almost three year old and Morgan is almost 2 1/2. Craziness I tell you!

Whole Foods is awesome with the baby stuff---they have Trumpettes socks! (Some look like little Mary Janes, little boy's ones look like sneakers lol)

I want some of that peach stuff.

and holy crap time flies---I thought she was only like 3 months!

Holly, if you have a girl, I have a wholebunch of trumpette socks to send you! My MIL got me a box when we found out it was a girl, and then I saved some of the better colors out of a bag of hand-me-downs. They never seemed to fit her right, and were so giant they slipped right off, and now are too short for her foot, they fall right off! So, I don't like them :(

Time flies like crazy once you have kids.

also, you lose your brain and do stuff like post comments in the middle of a thought.
but yeah, this is the last time in your life that time will go slowly! you are going to hit that halfway point, and it all picks up to lightening speed! until labor. that takes forever. I was surprised when my baby popped out and it had only been a little over an hour! i was like, what?? surely its 1 am now???
