Once the fever took hold, Dean’s dreams sucked out loud.
He was trapped on a plane about to crash, screaming as people’s eyeballs popped out of their sockets.
He was tied to a chair while Gordon beat Sam senseless, Sam’s blood splattering the walls.
He was leading a demon army, eviscerating everyone he knew, including Sam.
The only decent dream was the one where he was a kid again, cuddling his favorite teddy bear.
When Dean finally woke, he was confused as hell that he still had the bear.
“Hey, Dean,” Sam said, voice muffled against Dean’s chest.
Oh.
