Our chilli and parsley have sprouted! Little green things poking up through the dirt. Our last little bit of borage died tho. It was pretty sick - the hot sun last week burned it.

Last night, our dog Angel got really ill, vomiting a lot and shivering, and running a fever. We stayed up with her all night, and drove her to the vets at 7.30am when they opened. They admitted her this morning, have taken blood and put her on an IV drip to rehydrate her. We have to wait till 9.30am tomorrow to find out the results of the blood ( Read more... )

Saw the doctor today, and I'm on antibiotics. My tummy's still a bit achey, and cutting my finger washing up didn't help me feel any better. I hadn't realised how run down I was, or the fact that I was in pain, until after I'd seen him. Bit annoying. Oh well ( Read more... )

I've had the shadow of a headache all day. No pun intended. It's making me cranky and discontent, and em's not been well either, and it's hard not to snap at her. It's not anything she's doing...I'm just in pain.
I wish I could just turn it off and take care of her cos she's sicker than me.
