It's the small things

I have to say that one of the greatest delights for me is watching both Miss Marples - but Geraldine McEwan in particular - knitting at speed (without looking) AND acting simultaneously. LIKE A BOSS. A lace-clad, tack-sharp, delightfully batty boss.

I saw Blanche Yurka do that in A Tale of Two Cities -- and she was knitting in Continental style.

Kick-ass women rock my world.

I haven't seen A Tale of Two Cities in well over a decade, but I remember the role that knitting plays in the book. You'd have to get someone who knits to play that role; it's so pivotal.
