Because I always do what I say I'm going to do

Aug 24, 2009 15:17

So, rather than sitting wilfully on the couch, I moved a desk and two computers from room to room, set them up and got them running updates and things.

I'm on the couch now, let me tell you.

*is exhausted*

We've got about twice as much space as we used to in our bedroom though. I'm quite proud of myself, really.

home, to do, computer

Yay! *high fives*

I just moved my desk to the opposite side of room. Looks much better, but I'm wiped out. ^_^

I seem to be moving a lot of heavy things the last few days. It's exhausting.

I know what you mean...

Yesterday, around 2 AM no less, I decided it would be a good idea to empty one of my bookcases and move it around, along with my night-table and desk. I just finished getting everything where I think it will probably stay.

And of course, during the process I ended up re-organizing stuff and making rather a large mess. *facepalm*

Oh I hear you on the bookcases. I did a big book move around at the beginning of the year, and when you consider the amount of books I own, it was EPIC. A week of continuous work.

Why do things that are half-reorganised look messier than before you start? Life's great mysteries.

Ha, sounds like me last week. With a bad back none the less, I moved my room around as I was sick of the layout! Then proceeded to give it and the bathroom a deep spring clean...

Congrats on moving it around and developing more space-that is always good and looks more lovely! Enjoy the nap :D

My back's not been good either, so naturally I've been moving around coffee tables, a desk, a CRT monitor, computer boxes and lots of books.

HEALTH AND SAFETY = FAIL

Haven't attacked the bathroom, yet, although I did clean the toilet yesterday, because I found its general scumminess offensive.

We have quite a large bedroom in a small house, but it's always been taken up with lots of boxes. I'm hoping to move a bunch of them out into the garage later this week. Then, we might be able to use our drawers, rather than relying on our floordrobe!

Unfortunately, the nap gave me a crick on the neck and a nasty taste in my mouth. Such are the consequences of kipping on the couch rather than moving the requisite two or three metres to the bed. I do feel a bit better, though and the coffee is brewing in the plunger as I type this.
