...And then I shaved my poodle

Ha, bet you think that's a euphemism. It isn't. Australia has decided that it's spring already, and Pip needed a haircut. So, here he is, in all his moth-eaten glory, having a walk down along the Hunter River at Maitland.

An underage fictional character, at that. For shame! Consider him practice, then go give it a go on Emma. :oP

He's a much healthier looking puppy. (Pip, not Ivan.)

I know, I know. You can't see me blushing from there. The internet makes things so much easier. I'm so verbally clumsy, I just fail at flirting in person. I can't tell jokes, either.

He is! Emma keeps going on about how nice he feels. The ends of the hairs were so dry, because it was the growth from when he was still malnourished. The new stuff is so much softer, because he's getting enough to eat.

He was so good, today. We met another dog and her person while we were down there, and he let the woman pat him and he had a nice run around and a play with the dog. I was so proud. :D

I sometimes wonder if I am dysfunctional, because I "look" around at all the TW staff flirting madly with the Harkni and immediately think "threat". (As in, Harkni softening us up for invasion.) Which is ridiculous, because I know it's just Nicky. I am even more paranoid than I realised.

It's good to know that they can get better, even after such terrible neglect. Bad things happen with kids who get treated like that.

Hey, it's not paranoia if they're out to get you. And having a variety of responses is what makes a game like this fun. Everyone brings their own angle, and suspicion is a good angle when everyone else is just playing along ( ... )

I'll trim the long bits with scissors over the next day or so, when I find them.

Killawarra Kreme. It wasn't bad.

Yeah, me too. *is clueless*

PIP IS SO GORGEOUS! OMG DOGGIESSSSS! This is so not helping my puppy craving. There's a grey scottish terrier that hangs about in the neighbourhood (with owners of course) and the gorgeous, though huge, rottweiler next door... but STILL. PUPPY!

LOL@euphemism. That's a good one.

If it helps, he's not so adorable when he barks in the car, or wants to go out into the cold yard, then does one lap and comes back in REPEATEDLY.

Rottweilers are such sooks. I haven't met one that doesn't love a belly rub.

*sighs* I feel like I've know him for years. Ivan is none too shabby either...

Ivan's a sweetheart. When I scritch his scalp, his foot thumps. It's adorable.

I thought it had been far too long since I subjected you all to dog pics! So pictures of Pip you get.

It's weird. It's been so long since I had a new phone, and this is my first flip phone, too. I'm liking it, though! It plays music and everything; doubles as an MP3 player.

So glad I got it finished. I was worried I'd lose momentum and it would languish unfinished forever.

I've only started drinking wine since early this year. The main motivation, I must admit, is cost. While we can't always afford $25 for a bottle of vodka, $5 for a bottle of Crackling Peach is pretty much always do-able.

It's strange, but I'm having fun!
