Ha, bet you think that's a euphemism. It isn't. Australia has decided that it's spring already, and Pip needed a haircut. So, here he is, in all his moth-eaten glory, having a walk down along the Hunter River at Maitland.
He's doing so much better. It's amazing to see how far he's come, in terms of socialisation and the like. I was patting him this morning, running my fingers through his hair, and realised he's got actual muscles in his shoulders, not just skin and bone like he had when we got him! Amazing!
The pictures were taken on my new phone. We were trying it out, since Em's camera's in for repair. They're not fantastic quality, but they're good enough for webshots.
Yay! I'm so glad that people liked it. It was kind of an experiment, writing in a slightly different way than I usually do - short segments over a period of a couple of weeks, rather than intensely, all at once - and I'm really pleased with the result.
It's definitely obvious that he's a lot healthier than he was in previous pics you've posted. He looks quite happy, too!
Those are some pretty good pictures for a phone... My phone takes really crappy pics. Not complaining though, since I have a nice camera. ^_^
The last few weeks or so, when you've posted that you were working on a TW fic, I've been getting so excited for it! It definitely lived up to my expectations, and probably exceeded them (though I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting). I'll probably go re-read a couple of times, lol.
Yeah. It's hard to believe he's the same dog that was scared of everything, including us, when we brought him home.
Yeah, it's miles better than my old phone. If the pictures are any bigger than that size above, though, you can really see how blocky they are.
I'm so glad you liked it! It was my first Torchwood longfic, and my first time writing dialogue in TW fandom, too. Most of the others I've written have been short, or fragmented mood pieces that didn't have a lot of talking at all. I was glad I got their voices as well as I did.
That cute poodle is currently crashed out in his nest on the bedroom floor. We're too wild and crazy for him, being awake in the DAYTIME. Naturally, he wants to play when it's far too dark, cold and late to take him anywhere.
Hmmm...gotta watch those fictional romances. My alter ego is good at those! I enjoy a bit of gentle flirting myself...I'm not too serious about it most of the time because the women involved aren't attainable. I suppose I'm not either, if you ask Samantha!
LOL! Oh, this is just an role play thing I'm doing. It's all high fiction, and I don't even know the real screen name of the person I'm playing with, since they're using a sock account that's game specific. It's all very melodramatic soap opera-esque. :DDD

Also, I just finished reading the no-longer-WIP - and I'm still in happy-squee mode. It was absolutely lovely!

I mean, I'm not complaining about the warmth and the sunshine, but I wish it would make up it's mind!!!

I suppose it should tell you something that no one in my family has ever had a phone that had any kind of operating system...
