I got this recipe from a library book of Spanish food. The recipes focus on tapas and on modern Spanish (think El Bulli) food. It sounded neat, but what I realized is that while there are many tapas dishes I'd like to eat, and lots of recipes in the book that I'dlike to taste, it's not really food that I want to cook

4 large garlics
(it calls for 1 green bell pepper, too, but I didn't put that in)
2 lbs beefsteak tomatos (I used 4 large ones)
2 c. chicken broth
1 T paprika
pinch of sugar
dash of red wine vinegar
pepper
salt
1 tsp cumin
1 T fresh oregano
toasted bread, with soup ladled over it.
