I'm happy to beta for you and British it up as well, so long as it's not any Rose/Doctor fics because I can't stand them...

My e-mail is JoeyBug (at) tiscali (dot) co (dot) uk

Let me know if you need my services I do it for a few people in the NCIS fandom and I'm a published author so I know my stuff.

I would love your help as a beta! I never write Rose/Doctor, it always ends up WAY too mushy for my taste. I'm actually working on something right now that I'll send you some time (read, probably in the next week or so). Thanks a lot!

Not a problem...just send them along and I'll mark corrections in red so you know what to change and then I'll send it back...I'm working on my own fics, but I do have quite a quick turn around so bear that in mind when sending me stuff

Lovely work! Loved especially the Shakespeare one. Can't beta as English is not my first language but I'm looking forward to more from you.

Thanks! I have really enjoyed reading your stories. I spent a lot of time lurking around getting to know the fandom. Your writing style is captivating.

It's fun getting into Shakespeare's head.

Thanks! Wow, I've been reading Stuck on the Slow Path religiously... Actually, I think Vulgar may have been inspired by something Jack said in one of your fics, I don't remember...But there you go, slash cross-pollination!

I'd be glad to beta - maybe we can help each other out. I'm not exactly prolific these days, but could use another set of eyes now and then. And Doctor/Jack fans need to stick together!

Also American, but lived in Britain for several years. Let me know if I can assist.

hey,
Yeah, I'd love to send you some things. I'm in much the same boat, I like someone else to look at my work, but I'm not a hugely prolific writer. I'd love to swap stories with you. I have some creative writing training and I like to beta. I'm not the fastest beta in the world, though, so you'll have to bear with me.

These are beautifully done. You have a very fluid mastery of the english language. I'm not a big fan of drabbles, but your writing style drew me in I couldn't stop reading this (and I love how you make Jack fascinated with Ten's appearance....oh yes, he is gorgeous...).

I think "Lies" might be my favorite. "Vulgar" is wonderful too (cause you know Jack was totally thinking it in canon), but these lines: "He loves the Doctor (dear god) so much. And the Doctor whispers soft promises in his ear. “I love you” and “I’ll never leave again.” The sweetest lies that ever fell from the mouth of a fallen angel, a false god" absolutely did me in.

Bravo! Continue on, please!
