Probably a silly question, but are you sure your dad boiled the eggs long enough? That's the only reason I can think of as to why the yolks wouldn't be fully cooked. And I'm suddenly thinking that I want to make some devilled eggs.
As for the salsa, why not combine all of the partial containers into a single jar, just to save space in the refrigerator?
to properly cook eggs, put eggs in a pot of water to cover eggs, turn heatsource on. bring to boil. cover, remove from heat let sit 10 min. put boiled eggs in a bowl of ice water for 5 min. drain and do as you please
that came of snarky...not meant to...i was either a)typing one handed w/the baby, b) rushing b/c the baby was waking up, or c)just plain ol not paying attention to how it sounded...i pulled it out of a cook book...I get to hard boil eggs in a week for easter! so i'd just looked it up!
