While at Oberweis between the wedding and the reception, Karyn and I got into a conversation about how we know the same person on Karyn's friends' list (Karyn from high school, me from college; Karyn easily knows her better). The guy sitting across from us, Steve, asked how we knew each other...through MySpace? Uh, no. Rather, my reply was, "

No, no--one of my friends from the wedding is back on MySpace, and I discovered through her friends' list that I actually know several other people on there. And then I discovered that if they have one of those music players on there (as virtually everyone is a musician), my browser crashes. Not good. Plus I hate the people with see-through text boxes, so that you have to squint around the background to figure out what they've written. Annoying.

Besides, we only talk about you at 8:00 on Wednesdays. It's not time yet. ;)

Hey! Did you get a postcard about Alumni Band? It's at the spring concert in two weeks. I emailed Larry about it on Thursday and never heard back.

Oh, wait. Now that I think about it, yes, this is about you. Ha, I thought you were talking about MySpace. No, you were the person Karyn and I were talking about. Then she got all excited and started asking me about other Bolingbrook/NCC people. I tended to know older siblings, but still, small world.
