This morning, I was brushing my teeth when I heard a commotion outside: "Hey! HEY! HEY!" It certainly wasn't the cheery "Hey-hey-hey!" of Fat Albert, that's for sure. I looked outside to see...what my dad had guessed would happen.
See, tiny puppy behind us is tiny. Now, several weeks on, tiny puppy has grown, but is still on the small side. And, you may recall, back in the fall when they still had full-size dogs, those neighbors got a new fence. A wrought-iron fence, with space between the bars, different from the double-plank wood fence they had that prevented anyone from seeing into the yard unless they were viewing it from above.
Perhaps you see where this is going.
Yes, while the neighbor lady was on her phone--which is a very common occurrence, truth be told--tiny puppy managed to go through the fence into the yard of what I know as the dog house, the house to the south of them. That household has two or three dogs, part of the reason they went with the see-through fence; they thought by seeing the neighbor dogs, theirs wouldn't bark so much. Ha-ha, no. And now, not only can they see them, tiny puppy can join them! How fun!
Luckily the lady was able to get tiny puppy back over to the correct side of the fence with the use of treats, and surely tiny puppy got a scolding. Yeah, someone's not going to the bathroom alone for a while.
