I'd like to go for Obama's inauguration, and seeing as it's the same day as my dad's birthday I'd really need his permission lol. And I just really liked DC and would like to see it in a less tourist-y way.
We came to the decision he'd leave me alone and let me figure out what I wanted to do :P He was all, "you really need to find something you love," and I was like, "Dad, John Cleese told my entire class that the week we started college, I get it."
I know he was probably worried, but I was honestly scared by the way he talked to me the first time around. He hardly EVER yells, and when it comes to "life talks" he's very reasonable. Just glad to see he still is! :)
Ooh, that would be awesome!! Don't go on your own though :( DC isn't a very safe place for the most part, is it? And you'd be a long way from home!!
Haha, the wise words of John Cleese! I think your Dad was probably more worried than anything else before, I thought that at the time. Parents do worry :) My Mum's never been good at showing worry, she def makes it come across as 'stroppy anger' rather than worry!!! :) xx
I'd be staying with Michael, most likely. Not that that guarantees my safety, but I wouldn't be completely alone.
haha! My mom's usually like that too, which was another reason I was caught off guard- she hadn't exploded at me. She still hasn't and probably won't, since now she knows about my plan to get some job while I think about it.
Speaking of my mom! I told her about May today and she's excited! :D
To watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and watch David Thewlis join Ralph Fiennes in the Men I Should NOT Find Attractive As They're Dressed Up As Nazis, But I Do Anyway Because I Can't Help It, They Are Attractive And Really Good Actors category
YOU AND ME BOTH!
Also, DC is going to be absolutely nuts on Inauguration day. I'm so excited!

Also, did you come to any decisions about your future?
I'm glad your Dad was nice about it this time. Parents have bad days too :)
