I've gone through this LJ and deleted tons of posts, purged memories, etc.  LJ proved to be a release for me when I was going through a tumultuous time in my life - my early to mid-twenties - and I'm sure that's the main reason LJ is still around. jesus christ, why people don't tell something to my face is beyond me. If you don't want to hang out, then its simple - just give me a fucking answer! Yes, no or I don't like to spend time with you. So simple. It's hard enough for me to ask people something as is - don't make me dwell on it, and don't cut out without saying a word.

I should really review what I say in letters to people before sending them.  Writing a response to someone 10 minutes before I have to leave for work isn't the best.  Leaves no time for me to look it over.  Sometimes we say things we don't mean.  Or  words or sentences that could've been written in a different way that doesn't offend.

It's strange being back. I expected everything to be different and everythign to be the same.

I quit drinking last Wednesday. I've never felt better in my life. I've begun to truly enjoy living. Went to a coworker's birthday on Saturday, and I drank fruit smoothies and fresh juice all night long, and I felt great. Alcohol here is pretty bad, so I will either wait till I get back to the States or just see how long I can stay sober. ( Read more... )

I'm going to go down to the ABC tomorrow and pick up a nice bottle of something I can actually drink rather than gag on. I can't believe I haven't thought of this before. Got the results back from the vet's lab today. The other day when we picked up the dog from his physical, we were told they need to do bloodwork. His red blood cell count was low. Turns out they think he has multiple melanoma...how long he's had it, they don't know. Neither do we. Complete results will be back within the week. He's been ( Read more... )
