I have started a summer pattern of just kind of drifting from friend's place to friend's place. It is at least satiating my wanderlust for now, though of course I have wild notions of journeying away and going to go stare at the other ocean for a bit, maybe meeting some strangers who have no idea of who I am and what I am about. Drifting around sounds really nice - just letting go and seeing where that takes you. Yeah, I could get behind that.

Haha, I have the Dresden Files RPG, but I've never played it. How does it actually play out, is it fun?

If you have a group that knows how to create backstories in an Urban Arcana setting then it is a lot of fun. You need a backstory to play the game, they are not optional. The rules are very flexible, going in favor of narrative rather than mechanics. I had fun with it.

Drifting feels nice, not having to be pulled by one direction and seeing where the path takes you.
