I'm saddened that we still have to fight for these things, especially what Senator Davis is standing up for--really, it's been 93 years since the Suffrage Act was passed and a woman still has to fight to be heard in politics? But I'm also happy that people are supporting her, and I was so excited to hear about DOMA. It's a start, at least.

I didn't get to see Senator Davis fillibuster live due to time-zone differences but man she gets a serious amount of respect from me because doing that for 11-12 hours straight is amazing, and also kind of ridiculous that she had to do it in the first place.

And a hell yes to DOMA being struck down.
