Event Post 21 - Cliffside Angst

*The sun is setting over the island and Juudai can be seen sat on part of a cliff, just down the dirt road from Osiris Red. It's sunset by this time and the sky is a beautiful mix of orange, red and yellow. Juudai watches the calm ocean in front of him for a while before looking down at his deck that he has fanned out in his hands

*A Johan approaches! Ruby is on his shoulder and he seems to be smiling, but his body language seems to scream discontent and worry. OHAI YUBEL!*

Ah. *Juudai nods, with a slightly more content look on his face*

It's always quiet here, a good place to think, a good place to relax.

*Another small breeze moves Juudai's hair and rustles the leaves in the tree above them, as he closes his eyes, as if it helps him just take in what's around him. After a while he opens them again*

You hear the ocean and the wind in the trees and somehow... whatever problem you have doesn't seem so bad.

For a brief while... yeah...

*A strange shiver passes over Johan's skin. It still bothers him that the end of this dream will come in only a few months, and that those months will pass so quickly... Though the morbid sensation of approaching the end remains still, Johan looks to be of a fairly nondescript expression, keeping his eyes closed all the while.

Juudai just never ceases to amaze him.*

*Ayumi leans back*

Johan, Juudai-nii, promise we can all still be friends after you two leave?

*Juudai looks at Ayumi and smiles*

Of course! We'll all be friends forever, no matter what happens or where we are!

*Johan doesn't bother moving from his position, but his lips are beginning to quirk upward in a small smile.*

Definitely.

*Ayumi smiles*

Yay!

*Juudai smiles and laughs a little before returning to look at the pretty sunset scenery. Yubel is still nearby, she was watching the entire conversation*

*Card Excluder appears*

Evewyone's happy now, wight? :D

*A flash of discontent, just for a fraction of a second. Johan knows that perhaps this isn't the sort of happiness he'd been hoping for, but it is the best that can happen at this point. He takes a breath in, trying to smile, and exhales it in the shape of a single one-syllable word.*

Yeah.

*Juudai looks at Card Excluder. Although he still has his problem, right now his spirits have been lifted and he's with two good friends, so things feel good right now, or at least better than they were. With that he gives her a smile*

Of course!

[ayumispirits]

That's good. Ayumi doesn't like seeing either of you sad. *He nods at Ayumi who has dozed off next to Johan*

*Johan chuckles awkwardly, because Ayumi is kind of leaning on his shoulder. He's not about to push her away, though, so he just lets her sleep. Ruby, however, who has been on Johan's other shoulder just kind of clinging to him the whole time, hops off, sniffing around, and finds herself wandering towards Yubel...*

Yeah, I know the feeling.

*Yubel is stood watching Juudai and his friends when she looks down and notices Ruby walking towards her. She doesn't respond much, she just watches her for now.*

*Card Excluder follows Ruby in curiosity*

*Ruby approaches Yubel, about a step away, and tentatively leans forward to sniff curiously. She's not apprehensive, just intrigued, even though this person is much larger than her small self. Her tail is moving idly back and forth.*
