Oh, good for you for doing Guides. I know it means alot to those girls - but like you said - it takes up a lot of time. Still, if you enjoy it - that's what matters. I'm the type that overdoes as well - so I have no good advice except to take your vitamins and to take some time for yourself when you think of it. Maybe this is just a busy time in your life - when it's time for a change you'll know. :)
I got heaps out of Guides when I was in it myself, and so feel it's only fair to try and pass some of that on. I would have preferred to wait till a slightly less busy time, but unfortunately the long-time leader of the local unit (who was also an old family friend) passed away last year, so they needed someone in a hurry and it seemed logical for me to be it.
While life is busy, it's definitely not bad or anything, and boredom is not likely to ever be an issue!
Thanks - they were fun to take, but I think I'd want a tripod and a faster camera before making a hobby of storm photos: a little handled one is definitely the wrong tool.
Relaxing is good - I just need to work out a way to do relaxing _and_ sociable, because lately it's been one or the other :(
See this? (Ok, maybe you can't cause this is a written medium and you couldn't possibly get that I just held out my hands with splayed fingers...) This means that fingers need pies to put them in. I think you may well have your fair share of pies. Don't be greedy. :P
Hope life perks up for you soon and you get a bit of time to be you again.
I teach the basics of sailing teeny tiny dinghies to girls who are mostly only going to muck around in them - I don't race, or teach people to race or anything like that.
I saw Del's sailing plans get posted, but unfortunately I tend to get seasick offshore, especially if I'm below deck, so am a bit hesitant to volunteer for a trip where I can't get off at the end of the day. On the only two longish trips I've done it took me at least two days to get past being ill, and they were both on a tall ship where there was plenty of space to sit around on deck!

I hope you get some time out to relax and take it easy amongst all the stuff you're doing!

If it were inshore then I'd definitely be in :)
