not sure if it's exactly what you're after, in fact, not sure of your views on this whole "screamo" shebang, but i stumbled across this band called Idiot Pilot (clickable there), who are think are random enough to be interesting at least. Most songs start off with some bleepy bloopy casio keyboard stuff, before going "RAAAAAAAAAAGH!!" a bit later. Could be interesting to drop on Hybrid, I suppose.

Hey. I can show you how it's done, but Hybrid (which is soon to be renamed, cos it's a bit of a poo name) ain't gonna be an indie night. At all. You know my views on indie, and I ain't gonna be playin owt like Kaiser Chiefs, Babyshambles or Franz Ferdinand or owt like that. But yeh, if you wanna see how to drive the PA an stuff, I'll show you. Not that I know right well anyway, but it can't hurt, can it.

I don't know any stuff with guitars to recommend, but if you want to stay alternative you could always try some electro. I vote for Chicks on Speed and Ladytron. There's some stuff by Peaches that's quite fast as well.
