Well, like I said..... "The Republican Guard is a terrorist organization." That was Barack Obama. He might as well have called Iran a member of the "Axis of Evil" (to be fair, he did mock that term at one point). And also, I realize that he's cowtowing to the fucking mouthbreathers in Ohio or wherever. But still, I sensed a lack of intellectual honesty in some of his answers especially concerning Iran. I was slight disappointed.

I wish the could have stuck to the economy where he really came out swinging against McCain and would have fared better. Not that McCain said anything particularly intelligible or agreeable, but I think Obama could have been a lot tougher against him even on foreign policy issues if he wasn't afraid of making the imbecile wafflers in Indiana worry if he really has the grits to be presnit.

And this is supposedly a qualifying factor?

Not saying Obama is completely qualified either. I think they're both lightweights in different senses. But at least Obama has leadership qualities. McCain has been nosediving into nonsensical flailing ever since we won the Republican nomination.

But you do have a point that it's not a fair comparison to make. My first thought toward that line was actually this: $3 million toward bear DNA research? Fine. It should be clear to anyone that McCain is completely clueless about anything related to science. $3 million is nothing for a biological research project ( ... )
