There is screaming outside my door at work. They are testing the fire alarms, which I had requested happen only during hours when program participants aren't here. The company will not comply with that request without a big honking surcharge. Cannot afford the big honking surcharge

Evil fire alarm company that will not waive their surcharge for an organisation like yours >:( surely they earn enough from providing alarms to businesses that CAN afford it? :(

You would think so, but there are an awful lot of businesses out there that don't offer discounts or deals to anybody. At least we have a plumber who will and in this business, working toilets and faucets are a top priority. Though, we really do volume business with him.
