Why can't anything with computers go smoothly?

I have two Dell computers. The first one is a tower that's hooked up to internet and has all of the goodies on it for paranormal investigating and analyzing evidence. Yeah, wireless keyboards suck.

I remember I *had* one. I remember wanting to desperately dispatch it to the hereafter with a sledgehammer. That said...

Usign the laptop, search on your key board for troubleshooting methods or read the instructions with installing the wireless keyboard. (just know I had to call the tech support for mine and had to set the code to 000 or something like that)

One method usually involves turning off the power of the keyboard. But if you want my 2 cents, delete the whole thing and reinstall all of it.

Then get a real keyboard with a wire connection.

I hated my wireless keyboard and mouse so much, I gave them away and I am happily wired and haven't had a problem since.

My husband had endless trouble with his wireless keyboard and mouse. He, too, ended up ditching them for ye old wired versions.
