gastric bypass also means very loose skin, vitamin deficiency that HAS to be supplemented because of poor absorption, an inability to eat certain foods because of going into dumping syndrome, risks of blockages, calcium deficiency, inability to eat enough protein because of such a small golfball sized stomach. I know this because of people who are close to me having this operation. You will be happier than they all are in long run.

yaaay! im so proud of you! i might need you to start motivating me more bc i have a gym membership that i have used maybe a handful of times since ive gotten it. :) seriously though bypass surgery is bad mmkay. the loose skin as someone said plus most people end up gaining the weight back. i remember when i lost 20 lbs in a span of a month i put on 30 just as fast. you are doing it the right way and im so proud of you!

omg, don't even sweat it emily, you will be so much healthier and happier in the long run, and you'll look better.

i don't even think they'll look great once they lose the weight. i'm betting they'll look quite sickly and in their bathing suits, with all that saggy skin and no muscle tone? Eeeww, FORGET IT!!!
