Well, the weekend's almost here. And it'll start a half hour earlier than I expected since my shift today is a half hour earlier than normal. Not fun working at the front desk because that computer is in even worse shape than mine and I can't do any web work, but oh well ( Read more... )

out and out cry for attention in the worst way. The guy definitely needs to change his profile or he's going to keep being deleted. It sucks cause you know it comes from a long line of being ignored and hurt but I don't think putting something like that in a profile will ever help. It's more manipulative than anything in my book.

It's sort of the "self-fulfilling prophesy" type thing.

or... total manipulation. Could well be that he gets a fair amount of attention from putting something like that and then gets people who feel bad for him. I guess we are just too cold-hearted to fall for that ;)

Well, you're polite enough to respond to my random babblings, so you're definitely a polite person! But a comment on your profile is very "sour grapes" and for someone to use what looks like exceptionally basic reverse psychology and/or emotional blackmail really isn't a great way to start a conversation ( ... )
