Happy TGIF
Well, the weekend's almost here. And it'll start a half hour earlier than I expected since my shift today is a half hour earlier than normal. Not fun working at the front desk because that computer is in even worse shape than mine and I can't do any web work, but oh well.
Last night, I stopped and got my hair cut after work. Looks and feels much better. I just get it trimmed to a 3 (and do my beard myself) so I just go tp Supercuts. I go to the register afterward and pull out the card that they fill out towards a free haircut only to find out It was full and I got it free. Cool beans. Went home and took a nap. Or at least tried to until my mother called. Oh well. Couldn't figure out what I wanted to eat so I just toasted a bagel. That ended up being all I ate all night. I played some EQ2 and chatted on Bear411. Levelled my character in EQ2 (And started him playing in Sinking Sands some. I want my carpet!) and had some nice chats.
I know I'm not the most confident of people around, but I try. I've seen people write stories about people they've run into on Bear411 and I had to share this one. I get messages from guys I don't find attractive just as I'm sure every guy I say hi to isn't interested in me. I'll still talk to them and be nice tho. Nothing wrong with friends. The single profile pic wasn't a flattering one. The guy had to be at least 350# with no shirt or pants and I couldn't tell if there wwas underwear hidden there or not offhand. Still, I was going to say hi anyway and be polite until I checked out his profile message which read:
"It is ok no one wants me anyway i may delete my account."
I don't care if it fed his attitude or not but a profile like that doesn't make me interested in talking to someone. I just deleted the message as I wasn't in the mood to play therapist last night for a stranger. I guess I'm not as bad off as I thought. :) At least my profile stuff is fairly positive.
Well, off to grab breakfast and get ready for work. Tomorrow I head off to Hamilton for the weekend.
