What a weekend!

Went home Friday after work and just relaxed. I needed it after how crazy things were that day. Got up Saturday and headed to pick up allamericanbear and head to Darien Lake/Six Flags. We got there just as our friends Steve and Fred did too. They brought a couple friends of theirs along, Ed and Steve. (The "new" steve was quite handsome and had a very nice ( Read more... )

That's more broken-down rides in one day than I'd be comfortable with having at an amusement park! *g*

You know, I did intend to go back into Co* this weekend. I downloaded the updates on Friday (updater said 16hrs when I started it) but I never managed to do it for more than 5 minutes. Logged on, didn't see anyone I knew on, then never went back in. I was having more fun in EQ2 instead. :) Finally got a new headset and have been on Ventrilo chatting with guildies :)

It was nice to jump back to CoV for a little bit, but the constant crashing when I'd zone out of a missing or zone in from login was SO annoying. I think the update was 5-6 hours for me when I started it up Thursday night. I know it was over 400MB of updates. I just went back to play with some friends for one night and it'll be off again this morning probably.

And, yeah, there were WAY too many ride issues. One person said they should shut back down for a week and get everything fixed first. (Tho the fat guy getting stuck couldn't have been seen, but they should have had tools on site and not had a lame maintainance guy have to run back 3 times for the right one.)

It's not surprising that I had a longer update (though I know it didn't take the estimated 16hrs, since I started the update before I went to work and it was done when I got home), since I quit the game shortly before issue 6 came out.

Random CoH question alert: I used to run EQ 1 on my laptop on a fairly good graphics setting with no real problems. Am I likely to be laughed at by CoH if I tried installing it on here given i've not got an amazing 3D accelerator card?

It's very cheap in HMV and I really want it!

Not sure of the graphics intensity of EQ. I know I can't run EQ2 on my laptop. I can run CoH on it but it is very laggy. I just have the basic onboard video that came with my HP Pavilion about 3 years ago tho. I play most video games on there but hadn't counted on MMOs at the time I got it.

Well, it was a bear gathering but the belts were kinda short of the Ride of Steel or at least in the car we were in. If you were overweight at all, you barely fit in. The one that broke the Mind Eraser wasn't with us. Our group just saw him.

And, yeah the guy's hot. Why do you think I took the pic?
