Ever regret starting to talk to someone?

One guy started chatting me on Bear411. We chatted a lot and started switching to e-mail so we could chat while at work too. The thing is that lately, he's been getting more and more annoying. I think if I ever had to hang out with him in person, I'd end up slugging him into next week. He believes he's about the only gay guy out there that isn' ( Read more... )

He's ok. Not bad but nothing great. Definitely not cute enough to be this annoying.

There you have it. Tell him to get less annoying, or better looking!

Really. If someone is going to be like that, whatever is above the neck or below the waist better make it worth me putting up with them or I'm gone. ;)

I've talked to a couple of guys over the years just like this. I had to block them from all of my chat programs because I just couldn't take their holier-than-thou attitude.

I even un-blocked them after a year or so, to give them a second chance (I'm nice like that)... and they blew it within 2 or 3 messages.

Re-blocked! :P

I've told him a few times things like "You need to get out more and get rid of those sterotypes if you think you're the only 'straigh-acting' gay guy out there." I prefer people who are more laid back and like to have fun. Confidence is nice; arrogance is annoying.

If I heard you right he's from here in Dallas? I don't know what "3 Bear bars" he's talking about. We have some bars where bears do go, but there's no specific Bear bar. He sounds like what I call a "sugar bear", essentially a pissy queen in a bear's body. Not worth your time or worry...:)

The sad thing is that while not in the greatest of shape, he's no bear. Not even close to hairy. More of a chaser. Maybe that's why he feels so superior on there. Doesn't impress me though.

I have a very hard time tolerating people like that. No matter what you say, they have something to top it. (My mother-in-law can be that way sometimes: no matter what pain you have, she's had worse.) I'm not out to compete; I'm trying to converse. I don't have time for people looking for an ego boost.
