Excercise in Poetical Prose
Listen. Bird's song and morning's dawn. My soul arises, it cries out to join them. Singing. Flying. Wings aloft while the ground lingers, peaking through cloudy keyholes under feet far removed from Earth's greedy grasp. Though gravity pulls, I soar, still singing while dawn's vibrant gold fades into bright blue. -

Financial Stupidity
In Fair Haven Vermont the city has been run efficiently and frugally since 1993 when they started running a budget surplus. In other words they didn't spend all the tax money they took in. It's taken 15 years but they've built up a 1 million dollar surplus for the city which equates to roughly half their annual budget.
