▪ Finished playing The Walking Dead game and just... so much love for it. ♥ I especially loved how there was a painting of Judith decapitating Holofernes on the wall in the room when you're looking for Mark and how the entire situation going on in the house mirrors the Biblical story in Episode 2 . It was a nice little touch, imo. :) Also played The Cat Lady, a horror adventure game, which is kind of... think the creepy fucked-up sister of Dexter meets Dead Like Me. I definitely recommend it if you're interested in a game which has surreal art and succeeds in creating a generally unsettling atmosphere. But I should warn you beforehand that there's a number of triggering elements in it counting suicide, depression, threats of rape and gore.
▪ I've watched the second season of American Horror Story. So, I don't think it's any secret that Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Sarah Paulson were amazeballs this season! I overall enjoyed it quite a lot, maybe expect for one thing...
The entire 'lesbian character gets raped and - not able to carry through with an abortion because of the trauma - is forced to give birth to the product of said rape' deal. Which... yeah, was an entire subplot that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I could have done without.
To all the people out there who ship Dr. Thredson/Lana (as in, 'are writing smut fics about them' - seen some of those) and who are saying stuff like "Johnny Thredson is suu h0t" and that Lana was a bitch for shooting the mental case....
Judging you. So goddamn hard.
▪ Bomb Girls continues to please me! I just wanna kiss all their faces for being precious~ Can't say I care much for Gene's character personally, but I can see why the writers have introduced us to him.
