I've been entertained by your review, even if it is slamming a movie I actually like (then again I have always liked making fun of the things I love). I'm usually not attracted to amature produced internet movies, but I'll personally say that I think the Channel Awesome crew are doing a fairly decent job. The lightning issue was fixed for this movie because almost all shots were done indoors at Doug Walker's house so they had a far better control over the lightnings with their small budget, Surburban Knights and Kickassia were both majorly shot outdoors or in locations where they just couldn't do much about the lightning, especially on their budget. (Something both Rob and Doug touched on in commentaries for those movies ( ... )

The Santa Christ thing; I simplified my aversion to him a little. The religious part is why I'm uncomfortable with him, but the reason I don't like him is that he's so completely one-dimensional; he's a walking talking one-note joke that isn't funny. And I agree that the entire concept smacks of bad creative writing.

I ended up liking parts of this movie a lot more than I thought I would. I still have huge problems with it, but that finale was pretty damn cool.
