So of the things that Ladyfest has brought into my life, this is perhaps one of the top five? Basically, it's reintroduced The Pretender into my life. If you don't know The Pretender, you should. I LOVE THE PRETENDER! I forget all about it most of the time because it was so long ago, but it was such a good show! I wish they still showed reruns :(

Miss Parker will honestly probably the first woman I ever actually fangirled... granted I didn't actually know that was what I was doing at the time, but seriously? Women in suits who are powerful? SO ATTRACTIVE.

And Jared's hair lmao. I forgot all about that terrible mess. Remember when they made movies post cancellation?

They keep talking about doing another one - because the creators did Tin Man, they did an interview and were all DON'T GIVE UP HOPE but that was two years ago, so my hope has long peaced, dudes.

Miss Parker was just amazing, to be honest. She was such a badass. Love her.

I know, I love it so much. The creators keep talking and talking about a final TV movie to resolve everything (I think the last time they mentioned it as a possibility was two years ago?) and it's just like a;fljadsfklj I JUST WANT JAROD AND MISS PARKER TO BE A LITTLE LESS TRAGIC AND A LITTLE MORE HAPPY TOGETHER. But the likelihood of that happening is pbbt.

The Pretender is an amazing show. I watched it from beginning to end, including both movies. I think I have all the dvds running around somewhere. I really have to do a rewatch of that one of these days. 4 season is way more doable than some of the shows I want to rewatch.

I started watching it mostly because I knew Michael T. Weiss from Days of Our Lives, but I kept watching because it was just so cool. They really don't make tv like this one anymore.

I loved this show, love Jarod/Miss Parker, love Andrea Parker, it's such a shame they never really went anywhere with it. :(
