Nonspoilery general thought right now is MAN AM I GLAD I AM NOT REALLY INVOLVED IN THIS FANDOM. BECAUSE NOW WOULD BE THE TIME FOR POPCORN GIFS.

SERIOUSLY. THE WANK THAT I EXPECT TO RESULT FROM THIS IS EPIC.

Yeah, I got that vibe too, but it just felt so awkward tacked on to the end of the episode since it didn't really seem attached to anything.

IDK. I still love Eleven/Amy to bits but the whole exchange made me feel more awkward than anything else.

Word.

I haven't watched it yet, so I'm shielding my eyes from the stuff below your cut, but I know what you're referring to regarding the wank. It shall be epic, I am sure.

I'm starting to think I should probably watch Doctor Who. Right?
Although I would have a lot of catching up to do.

You could just start watching from when Eleven takes over? :D Which is only 5 episodes.

I still haven't seen the end of Ten's run (the last two episodes DT did).

Hmmm nah, thing is, when I watch a show, I like to do it right... Straight from scratch... And as far as I know, Dr. Who has a looooong history!

hahaha Well, Doctor Who is a weird show in that each Doctor is like an entirely different character so it's like a new show. A lot of fans are nu!Who fans who have only seen the series from 2005 on (like me), with a smattering of some classic episodes. If you start at Eleven, you won't be out of the loop because Eleven is different than Ten, so you won't need to know too much to jump into it.

I don't know many people at all who have seen every episode.
