Hello, you all! It's been a while.

Between my internship and my job, I worked a full 40 hours this week - and only got paid for 20 - but yay! Sears cut me back to 9 hrs next week. x.x MONEY, I NEEDS IT.

Because I have no car, for my lunch break, I usually run out to the Borders in the shopping center where Sears is and get a cookie and coffee for ( Read more... )

YES I WILL NEVER STOP BEING UPSET ABOUT TOSH AND OWEN. D: ESP. TOSH. D:

Also, I now want to slap the writers of Skinny Bitches. MILK IS GOOD FOR YOU. WHAT ABOUT OSTEOPOROSIS. Just, ugh. There is no "secret" to being skinny, not when being skinny means looking exactly like those Laguna Beach rejects. You're just supposed to eat in all the food groups and get enough exercise and your body's natural shape will assert itself. AND YOUR BODY'S NATURAL SHAPE IS FINE.

wow that book sounds insane to the point of being scary its stuff like that which makes me wonder about how stupid people who believe that stuff are, and the being bitchy bit is just gah *is lost for words* just how moronic and self indulged are people?

The first three episodes of torchwood were brilliant and the fourth was also great although the ending was rather bad. I would suggest watching it as at the beginning of series two I didn't care for tosh or owen but was devistated by the end at their deaths and i think it might be the same for you with ianto this series as he grew in my affections quite alot over the first three epsiodes of this series.

New studies actually show that soy is potentially very dangerous to eat, especially in it's processed form, and especially for women and children ( ... )

That's very interesting. I kind of wonder though about international differences in processing. Because of my family, we do a lot of shopping in Chinese groceries where the produce comes from Chinese markets or the products are imported from China. I've always eaten tofu, though I've never taken into consideration how processed it is.

And I'm sorry if I sounded super anti-organic there, haha. I just got criticized a lot when I was in my first year of college about how my buying regular as opposed to organic peanut butter was so ~wrong~, despite the fact that I was not in the tax bracket to be spending $12 on a jar of peanut butter.

The growth hormones fed into animals bred for consumption have been linked to obesity.

My family also believes it's made girls mature faster (as that is also a recent development).

... so their only qualifications for writing this god awful book is that they're skinny twats bitches? No degrees in nutrition or the health field of any kind? Well, they can just suck it. I live in an area where we don't exactly get a lot of sunlight so I'm going to drink milk to get my effing Vitamin D. And 2% kthx. (Anything less tastes like water to me and whole milk I swear to god I can taste the cow.)
